By checking this box you agree to the following Colorado Firefighter Calendar Participant Roles and Responsibilities. Agree to attend the introductory meeting to learn more about the calendar and your role. Agree to participate in one, half-day photo shoot for the calendar month in which you'll be featured. Agree to participate in one, half-day photo shoot for the group calendar shot. Agree to attend the Pre Release Event and the "Calendar Release Party" on the dates TBD. The first event is for you to mingle among the other Firefighters in the calendar, volunteers and sponsors at The Children's Hospital. The second event is the official kick-off party open to public. Agree to attend a minimum of 5 autographing session. Agree to sell a minimum of 100 calendars.

If you are selected, you will be requested to attend the judging event. The judging event will be live and hosted by celebrity judges. The Fired Up For Kids committee, celebrity judges and audience will determine who will be selected to appear in the calendar. Firefighters will be required to participate in photo shoots, autograph signings, interviews, and other special events to promote and sell the calendar. Firefighters will receive no monetary compensation by participating in this project. All proceeds from the sale of the calendars will benefit The Children's Hospital Burn Center.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What kind of picture should I submit?

Any photo that displays your best features. You don't have to be in your dress blues. If you'd like to display your physique, please feel free. If you'd like to send a family photo or a photo from a group event, that's fine, but please include one photo of just yourself as well.

Do I need to be in top physical shape?

The calendar will show a variety of photos. If we can, we try to incorporate your area of expertise into a photo if we can.

How about personality? Do you take into consideration someone's personality?

Absolutely! In fact, that's why we ask so many questions on the submission form. We like to know as much as we can about you, your hobbies, what you do outside of work and any volunteer work you do on the side. We take all of this into consideration.

Can I add more information to the submission form or write on the back?

Yes, the more information about you, the better and feel free to attach an additional page.

Is there someone from previous calendars that I can call to ask questions?

Can I tell you what kind of a photo I'd like to be in?

We welcome your suggestions, but also ask for you to remain open to our suggestions as well. Our photographer is one of the best and has been shooting photos for this calendar for a number of years. He has the eye for what you will look good in and as a team, will ensure the quality of the photo.

Will there be women in this year's calendar?

Yes, women will be in this year's calendar and will be featured in as many months as the men are.

Do I need anyone's approval to be on the calendar?

This is a decision you will need to make. You are more than welcome to contact firefighters who were on the previous calendar to get their input.
